Education Program Plan
The Mountain Plains AIDS Education Training Center (MPAETC) will conduct the provider training and provider data collection. An initial four-hour provider training session will be delivered followed by a two-hour booster training one month later. The training will be given in a standardized manner at each of the six clinics and will be based on the guidelines now considered the standard of care. MPAETC will also provide the clinics with prevention posters and brochures (see Patient & Provider Resources) that convey the importance of safer sex and safer substance-use behaviors.
