Below is a link to the Positive S.T.E.P.s online self-study module. The module provides background information on the science of prevention in care settings. It was designed to assure that all participants in the face-to-face sessions had the same basic set of facts, set the stage for the on-site education sessions, and decrease the amount of lecturing needed in the subsequent sessions.
